I registered to take the U.S. history, world history and biology SAT II’s on June 2nd, I really don’t want to take the bio sat II because I don’t feel like studying for it and if I take it I probably get like a mid 600. How do I cancel this test, so I don’t have to take it on June 2nd?

Too bad, because money came into the College Board never comes out.

If all you want is not taking the test, then you can just not take the Bio part and tell the instructors that you made change from your reservation. Of course, as I said, there is NO refund for testing fee except additional services such as QAS and etc.

Agree with tomahawk - on the day of the test, you can just tell them you are not going to take the Bio one. It says this on the SAT registration web site.

wow im so happy to see this post! :)

wait question: if im registered to take math 2c on may 5, but im not ready and i dont wanna take it (but am still taking 2 others the same day) - i simply need to tell the instructor that im not going to take the math 2c test? what happens then?

also, when is a good time to tell them that day? before they hand out tests, or what…?

one last thing…(this is before i read this about informing the instructors…) - i registered to take the jan 27 test for bio sat 2 but i didnt go cause i wasnt prepared. now my score report says that they’re “not yet available” because obviously i wasn’t there to take it. what happens? does this thing also get sent if i send in my other sat 2 scores? or is this nullified because there isn’t any score at all?

WAIT oh snap: <a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;

the page says this:

SAT Subject Tests
You must cancel ALL scores for that test date.

To cancel a score at the test center, ask the test supervisor for a Request to Cancel Test Scores Form, complete it immediately, and return it to the test supervisor before leaving the room. Once your request to cancel scores has been submitted, your scores cannot be reinstated and will not be reported to you or your designated institutions.

If you erase all responses to an individual Subject Test, it will be considered a request for cancellation, and scores from all tests taken that day will be canceled.

wait…so is NOT taking the test the same as CANCELLING it?! woaaaa there…this is not what i expected!

To “not take” a test you don’t need to file a “cancel test scores form” - you just don’t take it.
