I need a copy of my SIR. I will be attending UCSB in the fall and need it for a scholarship application. It says I need a signed SIR to verify they college I’m going to. I already completed it and was wondering if anyone knew where I could view it?
It’s a SAR (Student Aid Report). Log in to your FAFSA account, and your SAR should be available there to view and/or print. Who needs to sign it, according to the scholarship application?
@BelknapPoint I believe the SIR is the Statement Of Intent to Register…which verifies which college in CA a student will be attending.
To the OP…contact the college you are attending and ask them how to get this copy.
Ahh… too many confusing acronyms out there. I should have asked what it stands for before commenting.
I should’ve clarified what it meant. I didn’t realize a SIR was a California thing. Sorry about that!
Yeah, I sent them an email. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that in the first place. Thanks!
