I’m in 11th grade and I have decent grades. I stink at Math, I get in the low 80’s, high 70’s. english is good, always in the mid 90’s. Social Studies, mid 80’s. Science, low 90’s. I wanna be a lawyer so i’m taking college level sociology, buisness law, psychology. I got a 2040 on the SATS, haven’t taken the subject tests or ACT yet. I volunteer at an animal shelter and I’m in the KEY Club and the National Art Honor Society. The second semester just started, what should I do raise the possibilities of getting in to these colleges? Like extracurriculars, jobs, grades, sats? Please only serious answers please

I’m not sure, since I don’t know what your overall GPA is, but your grades seem to be the thing holding you back the most. Your SAT score is also on the low side for Stanford (but I think it’s pretty decent for NYU). If I were you, I would focus primarily on grades and also retake the SAT. If you could find another extracurricular activity, that would also be good. Just don’t overwork yourself. Good luck!
