how do i get to south coast plaza from uci?

i desperately need to go get my debit/credit card from citibank which is in south coast plaza. the shuttles dont go there and i dont have a car yet. so does anyone know of bus routes i can take? i have searched for it online but i couldn’t understand it. please help.

Use Google Maps. Enter your start and end destination. Then there’s an option that says Public Transit. Something along those line and it will give public transportation route.

edit: You need money to ride the buss, i suggest you buy a 1 day pass which allows you to use it all day for 1 day.

if you’re a freshmen, your id card should already be activated for the local OCTA bus, but if not, you could go reactivate it at either UC Items or Parking and Transportation services.

Next, as for going to South Coast, you have quite a few options.

 1. You could take the 79 (from University Center) and then transfer at University/Jamboree to the 57 bus, which drops you off there.

2) You could walk roughly 30 minutes to Bison/Jamboree (that’s from Science Library…from Mesa and Middle would take another 10 minutes or so each way and just take the 57 bus if you hate transfers.

Lastly, Google Transit has given me alternative Citibank banking locations. There’s apparently one that the 79 bus takes you directly there to, which is at Culver and Barranca. As the above poster said, go to [Google Transit](About Google Transit - Transit Partners Help) and it should be easy to follow.
