How do I Incorporate This Info into my essay?

Background: I was accepted into a competitive Business program at my school. In order to participate in this program, which takes up 3 hours of my schedule each day, I decided to take my math class online during the summer.

I was told by someone who works in admissions at a college, that I should talk about this (explaining that I took a class online to get ahead in my studies) in my essay.
I was also told to talk about ALL of my hardships that I have faced, throughout high school, in my essay.

My question is, how am I supposed to (or SHOULD I?) incorporate this seemingly random and unrelated info, into my essays (especially if my essay topic is to discuss someone who has influenced me)?

Thanks guys!

This may be a stretch but maybe be like “I love this person and they inspire me and such and they are great in business and such/have told me about business all my life and that’s why I wanted to be in the business program and in order to do that I had to take math during the summer”. I’m not sure about the hardships (it’s hard to say since you didn’t mention what they are specifically) but I highly doubt you need to mention ALL of them. That seems like overkill. If anything, mention only the most unique and significant ones. What is the word limit on this essay? (I only ask because it seems like alot to write about.)
