I’ve been doing a lot of running, pushups, and agility exercises. I also haven’t shaved my face in two weeks. However, I still question whether I’m man enough to get an 800 on Lit. When I reach that level of excellence/baditude, how will I know?

BTW, I’ve gotten 800 CR if that means anything

You will consistently score 800s on Lit practice tests?

I went into the Lit SAT 2 thinking that it was going to be a cakewalk, with no preparation whatsoever, and it turned out to be (dare I say it?) surprisingly difficult (a fair bit harder than CR – on CR I too scored an 800 with plenty time to spare, but for Lit I only finished a few minutes before the end and strongly doubted my chances of scoring an 800*)

Granted, my performance may have suffered somewhat considering that it was my last of three SAT 2s and I had an overall “**** it, I wanna get out of here” attitude at that point…

Well, you must first mix up a magical mixture, involving one part lit terms, two parts tone and theme, and one part luck. Then, after praying to the collegeboard gods, you must pour the boiling mixture out of the window onto some poor unsuspecting pedestrian. Only then can you be assured of an 800.

Honestly, I’d try not to determine wether I’m at that 'level. Not knowing is a good motivator to study harder.

when you can do an eye push up 10 times, thats when you are man enough for the lit exam.

When you find yourself detecting every literary device used in a Shakespeare play ;S
