So, I have my current university and previous community college on my resume, but I will be transferring to an online college to finish my degree. I currently go to a private, on-campus college right now. I don’t want to list my current college and say “degree anticipated May 2019” if I am not anticipating a degree from my current college, it seems misleading. But I also don’t want to list my new college, which I wont be starting until October, because listing future plans might also be misleading?
What online college? Is it accredited? If no (e.g. University of Phoenix) it is not worth the paper it is printed on.
What type of job are you applying for? If a minimum wage job, it won’t matter. If a summer job in your major, I still don’t think it would matter because you would be indicating you are sophomore or junior…they don’t care whether or not you finish. If you are applying for a career type job, then yes, they would want to know when you really will graduate.
