Okay, so I would like to be accepted into NYU Stern but I don’t know if I would be able to. Currently, I have a 3.9 average but before junior year I had a mere 3.7. I was able to bring my average up exponentially during my junior year because I am an IB Diploma Candidate and mostly all of the classes are weighted. Here are some of my pros and cons that I feel are related to the college admission process.

Pros
- I am an IB Diploma Candidate which is widely considered the most difficult program to take part in for high schoolers.
- I am the founder and president of the investment club in my school.
- I have been investing on my own time for the past year.
- I have taken the SAT twice. The first time I received a mere 1260/1600 but this last go around I know I have recieved at least a 1350/1600. (I have taken about 25 practice SATs so I can round out my score based off of my confidence pretty well).
- I have interned at both, NRDC and DFMS during the course of the past few summers.

Cons
- I have only a 3.9 average.
- I am not in the Academy of Finance even though it is available at my school.
- I have not joined many clubs since I choose them based more on quality than quantity.
- I am not part of any “socially aware” clubs.
