<p>You are the editor of a major newsmagazine. Write the cover story for the January 1, 2025 issue.</p>
<p>I know entrance essays are supposed to be about yourself, but i’m having a hard time finding ways to personalize with this topic. Any ideas?</p>

<p>Something over the top. I’d probably write some ridiculously cocky essay about my upcoming inauguration as the youngest ever President of the United States after winning 49 states and the District of Columbia (Wyoming went to Nader). First act as President… pardon Snoop Dogg.</p>
<p>The topic/person/issue you decide to put on the front page will tell them a lot about you. Indicate in the cover story why this topic/issue/person is important; why does it merit being the cover story? That shows the school what is important to you, which personalizes the essay.</p>
