<p>OMG I have like no motivation to do anything… but I feel really guilty about not starting my other apps… what if i get deferred or even worse… rejected. Then I have to do all my other apps over Christmas break. What are you guys doing? How are you motivating yourself? Also, I dont know if its just me… but I feel like if I start other apps that may jinx my columbia app or something. Like my negativity will be bad luck, lol, stupid I know.</p>
<p>Haha, at least you still have Christmas break, if I get rejcted or deferred, all hell break lose and everything HAVE to be done before Christmas.</p>

<p>I’m having the same problem. I applied EA to Yale but am too nervous about it to spend time on other applications. However, if (when?) I get deferred/rejected, I’ll be too upset to put a lot of effort into other applications so I’m going my best to get them done now.</p>
<p>There’s only 9 days between now and when you’ll hear back…honestly, how much could you possibly get done in that time anyway? Just let it go and see what happens…</p>
<p>You could actually get a lot done in that time, especially compared to the workspeed which may result if you end up with bad news and feel dejected and bummed.</p>

<p>There is no motivation involved, you just have to realize that your future is on the line if you dont do the applications and you get rejected/deferred</p>

<p>I already had to turn in the UC app, so I’ve had motivation as a result of deadlines. USC is due on the 10th, but I haven’t done enough work on it yet, have to start focusing. Do the easy stuff like filling in your info first and leave just the essays for break.
Carrera- why Carlsbad? There really isn’t much there, except houses. Seems like a weird place to stop on your little tour of the west coast.</p>

I was doing pretty well with them… and now with all this school work that I’m getting swamped in… my RD apps are being neglected…
And with only 8/9 days left till the Columbia decision… I feel like not doing them till then…
Is that a bad idea?</p>
