How do I take Bio1A this summer w/out ochem prereq?

<p>Is there anyway to waive the organic chemistry prereq for Bio 1A? I'm not a biosciences major, but need to take the class this summer. I haven't taken organic chemistry and you cannot enroll in the class unless you do. Any suggestions? </p>

<p>Nope: Bio 1A is one of the most tightly regulated classes on campus. I do not believe there's any way to get around the pre-reqs; that, and you just need o-chem to understand the curriculum to a large extent.</p>

<p>You can enroll in the class, but you will get kicked off once the course coordinator starts to check. There are simply too few spaces for the many people who want to take the course.</p>
