Hi everyone.
This is pretty much the question: how do I track which transcripts UC Berkeley has received?

Go to “myChecklist” on myBerkeleyApp, than scroll down and click on “Official Transcripts/Records Required”

Does “myChecklist” appear only after submitting SIR?

@addoby

I’m not sure, possibly. You can only begin sending transcripts once you SIR though…so you should do that.

@addoby
Yes, the full checklist does not become available until after you submit your SIR.

Did you SIR to Cal or are you considering UCLA?

Thanks @Freetofly112

@ocnative I took the plunge and sent my SIR to Cal! How about you? Any updates?

@Freetofly112 Cool! I already SIR’d to Cal also

Are you going to the socal reception on May 12th?

@ocnative Absolutely! It’s actually being held at the school I’m transferring from, so its super convenient. Have you registered for CalSO yet?

@Freetofly112 Awesome! It’s like literally five minutes from where I am so it’s super convenient for me also, lol. I have’t registered for CalSO yet…or even applied for housing.

How about you?

@Freetofly112

I will hate you forever for SIRing to Berkeley.

Nah, just kidding. Best of luck with philosophy at Berkeley! I’ve heard Berkeley’s philosophy program is known for not giving out many A’s. In any case, I’m sure you’ll love studying philosophy there.

@Cayton

There you go again, scaring everyone away from Cal. You should seriously be getting a paycheck from UCLA. You probably would have convinced me, had I applied to and been accepted by UCLA. Good thing I wasn’t lol.

@ocnative I’ve finished housing, but I haven’t registered for CalSO yet. I hear its better if we do it soon though, because the earlier we go, the better chance we have to get into our classes. Still, having to get up to Cal just for a one day orientation sounds like a hassle… lol

@Cayton hahaha forgive me!! If its any consolation, I thought the UCLA campus and surrounding area was much better… what ultimately pulled me to Cal was their rhetoric program. I’m disillusioned with Psychology, so I’m thinking I can double in Phil/Rhetoric instead or something. I’ve heard the same thing about Cal Phil being fairly tough… Hopefully I can manage!

@music1990 LOL I have honestly thought the same thing from time to time. I’m pretty sure Cayton is working undercover for UCLA admissions :P

@music1990

lol, Berkeley is a pretty scary campus, man. I’m just telling like it is. :P

@Freetofly112

Ah. Your debating skills will be unmatched by the time you finish college.

@Freetofly112

I heard that too. Sooner the better! Are you living on-campus or off-campus?

@ocnative
I’m trying to get into the apartment style suites… I think they are considered off campus for financial aide purposes, but they’re still UCB governed.
