How do math/science people deal with history and english?

I am a math/science oriented student who wants to make 5s on USH and Eng Lang. How do you other guys do it? History, I read and read and I just can’t remember! English, I’m naturally better at so I’m not whining too much. But, remembering things for APUSH just drives me nuts.

ever tried buying the Barron’s AP US flash cards or even making your own?

^I have those! They’re expensive, but worth it considering I can’t learn well by reading my history book.

does anybody know about the spark charts or the sparknotes stuff? are they any good?

ehh its not bad just make sure you dont self study those history/english APs lol…I got a 5 in AP euro (im math and science) but that was probably because my teacher was brilliant…however US shouldnt be hard for anyone really, at least not in NY since we learn about USH (in progressively greater detail) from 4th grade onwards.

AP USH and AP English :frowning:
are just driving me nuts.

AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry are so much more fun and
even AP Physics C Mech which I am self studying
is

I have to spend ~6X the time on USH and 3X the time on
preparing for the rhetoric MC. This in turn is wrecking havoc
with everything else. My scores started improving after I took
up Cliffs for AP English Lang & Comp. USH is not complex just
big magnitude wise and it really freaks me out when I have to
spend 2 days doing a summary review (what would take me 2 hrs
for Math/Science).
