How do non school ECs and athletics affect my chances?

I have little involvement with school activities, but am wondering if non school activities makes up for this.
I have weekly involvement in a food drive in a low income neighborhood and do volunteer work at a childrens hospital on a regular basis.
As far as athletics go, I have been doing the same non school sports consistently for 11 years and even train younger children and help out the coaches when I can.
Do these make up for/ replace lack of school involvement?

My grades and test scores are great too, but I have always been worried about my weakness in the above mentioned areas.

I doubt there’s anything wrong with having any non-school related ECs. Whether it’s at school or not, it’s an EC.

Though when you put it as “lack of school involvement…” hmm.

Well, I’d say it’s fine.

Whether in school or out, it’s the quality of the EC that matters, not where it takes place.
