How do outside Scholarships affect eFan?

<p>How do outside scholarships work? I got a $3000 outside scholarship and was wondering how that would affect my eFan. Would it get rid of grant money, loans, or work study?</p>

<p>It shouldn’t get rid of anything that they have already awarded you. When my first eFan came in, I put in my outside scholarship of $1000. When the revised one came I still had everything that they awarded me plus the $1000. So It shouldn’t get rid of anything.</p>

<p>Outside scholarships should have reduced your eFan aid. Loans are the first to go, then work-study, then scholarships/grants.</p>

<p>^I didn’t think about that…I think Jinobi is right. All I know is that my outside scholarships did not affect my grants but they probably did affect my loans</p>
