<p>I do not know whether people apply to the branch campuses, but if you apply to the main campus and your grades to not qualify you to start there, you may receive an offer of acceptance to a branch campus with an option to transfer. i hope that is what you were asking.</p>

<p>Well for pre-med, you can get your degree in whatever (literally) at ANY of the branch campuses. If you are pre-pharm but hoping to do the 6-yr straight program, I’d recommend going for Pitt Main and just staying there the 6 years instead of starting at branch and transferring.</p>
<p>If your grades are good enough, you should just apply to Pitt Main. I vaguely remember on the application that it asks what branch campuses you would be willing to attend in case your grades were not good enough for Main.</p>
