<p>What difference would it make if it was a 1-5 scale or a zero to ten scale?</p>

<p>on the surface, yeah, I think all the ivies have a scale they rank interviewees (dartmouth has a scale of 1-9, for example)</p>

<p>but they cover a broad range of qualities. f.x, intellectual curiosity, time management, communication abilities, knowlege with current events, etc.</p>
