How do the FAFSA pell grant & rolling admission work?

Does anyone know how do the FAFSA pell grant and rolling admission works?

I will apply to some rolling admission schools in May-June for this fall’s admission. (cause my ACT score is too low right now)
Schools require to receive the FAFSA application by 2/1, but I won’t be applying to schools until May.
Should I just submit my FAFSA application to schools now anyway? Then apply later?

Thanks for answering.

You can select up to 10 schools for the FAFSA. I would submit it now.

Submit the FAFSA now.

If you are entitled to the Pell Grant, you will receive it regardless of when you submit the FAFSA during the 2015-2016 school year.

What schools are those? There are a small number that would be accepting apps that late. The ones that do would likely not give you much aid. If you’re low income, you’d get the small Pell grant, but that won’t pay for college.

I think you need a better strategy. You need aid (based on the Pell mention) and any schools accepting applications in May/June will be ones just looking for warm-paying-bodies to fill their seats.
