How do the gap year slots pan out?

<p>If they have 50 or so students who took a gap year last year, are they counted as part of the incoming freshmen class for fall 2006? Limiting the number of slots there?</p>

<p>i guess they will assume 50 people this year will take gap year too…</p>

<p>Those deferred students would have to notify admissions in April 2006 so they can only be counted part of the class of 2010 after that time. Some of them do not matriculate (not many).</p>

<p>we are actually told to notify in january.</p>
