How do u feel about small engineering schools?

Hi everyone, I am a senior and have already applied to the following small private engineering schools: Stevens Inst., NYU poly, rose hulman, Rensselaer Polytechnic, Worcester polytechnic.
Lets say I hypothetically am accepted to all of those schools.
a) out of those which should I attend for aerospace engineering?
b) should I go to one of those over a highly ranked public school like Georgia tech or University of Illinois?

The thing that concerns me about public schools is the campus life.
Not to sound shallow or anything but these all if these schools have 7:3 guy girl ratio…

1) Attend the one that you can best afford. Check to make sure the program is ABET certified.(it should be at those schools).
2) Can you afford GT or UIUC?

As far as the opposite gender, look for accompanying schools. For instance a friend who attended RPI married a girl from Russell Sage.

As a faculty member at a “small engineering school” (IIT) and a graduate of UIUC, I would say that as long as the program is ABET accredited, you will get an excellent education if you put the effort into it. The decision then rests on finances and your impression of the school’s “fit” for you. Visit your top choices and see if you like urban or rural; small or large; research or undergraduate focused. Each has its own pros and cons.
