For example you have General Chemistry 1 and General Chemistry 2. Do UC’s average your two semester grades for an overall grade in the course, or do they look at the individual grades from each semester? Like if you have C in one semester and an A in the other, would they average it to give you a B in General Chemistry? The same question applies to stuff like Biology/Physics/Calculus or whatever else has a 1 year sequence I guess.

Gen chem 1 and gen chem 2 are treated as two separate classes. Same goes for the others.

Do you get 2 grades or 1? If you have 2 separate grades, the classes will be treaded separately, say your Fall course was 5 units and you got a B in it and your Spring course was also 5 units with an A, they will see 2 separate courses. If it truly is a year long course that you only get 1 grade in, they will see one class with a very large unit and also one grade.
