How do we host stuff online??

I know that with the athena ID, each student gets his/her own webspace and url. My question is, how do we host stuff on the url??

:( I still haven’t received my package, I’ll have to wait until next week :(

If you have certificates on your computer, go here and download a file transfer program.

If you have Windows, you have a choice between Filezilla and SecureFX. I like SecureFX way better, and it has fewer issues working off-campus (at least for me). When you open up your FTP program, it will ask for your Kerberos username and password; type those in and you can upload files.

Your webspace can be found at web.mit.edu/yourname. Files in the www and Public directories are publicly accessible by default.
