<p>so u know what my japanese tutor told me about japanese girls and guys. She said that when she was studying abroad in Japan for a year, and what ends up happenening is everyone wants to “be your friend” at first. Some are genuinely interested (college students that is) and some just want an oportunity to improve their english.
She said that it is much worse for guys. She said that she knew a bunch of white guys there (americans that is) and she said they spent many days, practically running from girls that would never stop following them around or flirting with them. Like if he invited 2 girls to go with him somewhere, a whole flock of 10+ would follow. And she said that some japanese male students started to resent them for it, because they wanted the japanese girls, but the japanese girls like the white guys.</p>
<p>So, by the information i have been given first hand, by someone who has lived in japan for about 1.5 years of her life (she had an internship too), i think that when the white guy gets the asian girl, in the case of tokyo drift, is not at all racist since according to my tutor, that is basically what happens to all the guys.</p>
<p>And lastly, this is just what i was told, and should be taken for a grain of salt…well actually, i teaspoon of salt if thats better, because it obviously is somewhat significant.</p>
