A few years after you graduated from undergrad program? Can you just send the Professor and e-mail and ask him/her to send a letter to a prospective school?

Yes, I ended up doing this a couple years after I was out. Just look online for examples on what you should include in an LoR request via email. It is also helpful to remind the professor who you are by listing which classes you took with them, or if they were your advisor or something like that.

I included a CV/resume to highlight what I’ve been working on. They may not remember you by name, but maybe by face so think if you are comfortable sending a picture of yourself to help them jog their memory.
