How do you bros find the motivation to stay in school?

I want to leave my current job that I have now but I doubt I’ll find anything that pays more. I am currently in school but slacking hard. Doing all the assignments 3 hrs before its due and studying for exams 30 min before. Its getting to the point where I want to leave my job but then the only way to get a better job is to finish school which I am dreading right now.

Any Advice?

The prospect of working at McDonald’s or in intense physical labor that pays well (basically any hard trade) is generally enough to scare me into keeping at this whole school thing. Not to mention that the careers I’d really like all require at least a bachelor’s degree. I’ve got three semesters left so I might as well finish 'em off.

What do you actually want to do?

something in IT but don’t know yet since I haven’t taken any classes either programming, web page developer or networking

I have a year left to go if I do well in all my classes but sometimes I just feel like taking one semester and just putting all of the classes in one to finish. I want to put an end to this because the longer I drag and waste time at school the longer I have to stay working at my current job.

I actually like school… so the motivation is pretty easy.

If I want to stay in my BS/MD program, I have to do well in school. That’s enough motivation for me.

I like my program, classes, and school in general… No big struggle here…

I enjoy it. Perhaps college just isn’t for you.

I have nothing else to do. I can’t even get a basic summer job -___-. Might as well stay in school.

I enjoy the classes and such so motivation is somewhat easy for me to come by
