times the mc by 1.18
and the essays by 5.32

That’s a 5.

According to my teacher, 5 on all the essays and 46 raw score on MC = 5.

Perhaps this is more useful:
Scoring the AP English Lit exam
SECTION 1: Multiple choice
[ (number correct out of 55) - (0.25 * number wrong) ] * 1.25 = MC SCORE (if less than zero, enter zero) = WEIGHTED SCORE SECT. 1

SECTION 2: Free Response Questions
Question 1 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q1 raw score (do not round)
Question 2 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q2 raw score (do not round)
Question 3 (out of 9) * 3.0554 = Q3 raw score (do not round)

(Q1 raw) + (Q2 raw) + (Q3 raw) = WEIGHTED SECT. 2 (do not round)

COMPOSITE SCORE
(WEIGHTED SECT. 1 SCORE) + (WEIGHTED SECT. 2 SCORE) = COMPOSITE SCORE (round to nearest whole number)

AP GRADE CONVERSION CHART: There may be slight variations year to year.
Composite score range > AP Grade
108-150 > 5
93-107 > 4
72-92 > 3
43-71 > 2
0-42 -> 1

I’m not sure if it’s entirely correct though; I just googled it.

I personally think the multiplier for the MC should be 67.5/55 = 1.2273. Because if I get everything right, then I should get 67.5 points (which is 45% of the max points possible)
