I may be transferring to a 100 point college that says an 84 is what they’re looking for, but I’ve never been on that kind of scale before. Anyone know how to do the conversions?

4.0 scale is based on grades
depends on the grading at your school
4.0----- A
3.7----- A-
3.3----- B+
3.0----- B
2.7----- B-
etc…

devide anything u get by 100. Then multiply it by 4

EG

90/100 = .9

4.0 X .9 = 3.6

that makes sense mathematically

Maybe it’s like the point system they use for tests.
A — 100-90
B — 89 - 80
C — 79 - 70
So 84 points would be a B average, or 3.0.
