No, I do not share your outlook - and I agree with those who say what you are describing is rudeness, not evil. Do not conflate the two, but save the word “evil” for those people and things that truly deserve it.

Actually, the older I get, the more I see the basic goodness in people - the good things they do and the good deeds that so often go unnoticed. Either I have somehow eliminated all the bad people from my life, or I’m getting dotty in my old age.

Also, don’t watch local TV news of any sort. Now THAT’S evil!

I have to make a point to watch less news because the visions that are depicted stay with me.

I have always, and still do, want to change the world for the better. I guess I just have to focus on the seemingly small positive changes that I do make. Because to touch one life in a positive way is BIG.

Ignore, nothing else is productive in my world. Out TV is always on, it does not mean that we believe in what is siad, most of the time I am doing something and TV is just a background or to laugh at when they say something that is completely opposite of thruth. TV is also a very good sleeping pill that doe not have side effects.
It completely blows my mind when people pay attention to: "For example, there is a 20 something young woman in my workplace who is a gossip, never has anything nice to say about anyone, invites people to go to lunch in front of others who she does not include, makes fun of those who are overweight. ". - Don’t you have something better to do than spend time thinking about this? I say, it is extremely hard to believe that somebody cares, but apparently I am wrong. Than STOP caring, you are creating your own problem, not this person. You cannot change anybody, but you are in full control of your reaction to anything and anybody and people who keep themselves busy simply cannot afford paying attention to this type of stupidity.
