How do you deal with the cold, long, dark and depressing winters?

<p>Sometimes it takes longer to get cold than others, it got cold a little earlier this year. It may warm up again yet before we hit Jan-Feb, or it could stay this cold. My furnace is broken. Ugh.</p>
