Does anyone have a creative (yet of course truthful) way to explain lack of honors classes on a transcript? My son is very much into music and will be pursuing this in college. While his music credentials are through the roof (and all of his music classes were honors), I feel he needs to address the lack of honors classes in his core subjects. He did well in his regular classes, but I’m afraid the lack of honors will hurt with the big name schools he’s applying to.
Has anyone been through this and do you have any ideas?
