Our two sofa pillows have a well defined purpose… because cats. 
Kitties hate the feel of leather but gladly sit on any fabric surface. I also bought a large log-like sofa pillow with Seattle skyline embroidered on it that has a couple of local landmarks misplaced - we use it as a puzzle for our out of area guests. Guess what is wrong with the picture?
