I was thinking of trying to organise other students to materially contribute to Iran’s Green Revolution (Marg Bar diktator! Tod dem diktator!) in progress, esp. since the movement shows great promise but is in danger of being crushed.

I wouldn’t be so ambitious but I don’t see any similar organisations in America (very disheartening for a bastion of democracy), and it’s quite irresponsible for youth not to stand in solidarity with fellow youth so violently repressed.

Except I don’t really have connections, and I’ve only ever fundraised locally. Help?

Fundraising locally would certainly be a start. If you can establish yourself locally you can branch out fairly easily and build momentum as you gain supporters.

My question is: how would you get it to Iran? And there are a lot of movements for this already in America but the biggest problem is getting resources over there.
