I’m stuck on the 30-31 range and no matter how many times I practice (timed), I just can’t seem to break 31. Any advice? And quite honestly I don’t think reading books will help me as I get easily bored.

Reading will help you though. Despite what you may think, the more you read the easier it becomes. To 36 the reading section you have to read the passages quickly and retain the information. You can obviously do this if you are scoring 31’s, so now it’s just dependent on you becoming a better reader.

I guess there’s no way around it then. I just get so bored reading books that aren’t Harry Potter or Hunger Games. I mean, my motivation just diminishes every minute I endure the book, and eventually my mind just doesn’t even bother to comprehend the words on the page because it can make no sense or it’s just plain dull. When that happens, reading starts to feel very pointless.
