How do you know he/she is the right person for you?

You get interested in a guy/gal, ask them out and go on a few dates. You have a good time, and think you like this person. How do you know, or decide, that this is the right person for you? Is it mere a gut feeling? Or you carefully evaluate him/her and your experience with them before committing yourself? Do you take into account factors like personality, character etc?

to date/have a relationship with or what?

Wow, this is the tough question. Here are five questions I’d ask: do you have a good gut feeling? do you get butterflies in your stomach when with him/her? at the right time, does he/she curl your toes or turn you on – i.e., do you want to slap skin? do you want the same things? can you see being with him or her in a year or two or ten?

Don’t use too many cold measures, but do take into account whether you are one another’s type and you think his or her character is good.

And then go get your groove on…

i think personality is extremely important. you never really know if that person is the right one, there might just be someone just like that person somewhere else but a little better. it’s a question of life which will never be answered.i agree with BedHead, and i would ask the same questions. i would also ask, when you see that person (guy, girl) what do you feel? do you get nervous? weak in the knees? do you smile?

Falling in love in college is scary.
