You are supposed to send your essays through email and test scores through recipiency. How do you track if the school has received the materials/ and do you get a notification once you complete your entire application?
You don’t. If they ask you for missing materials, you act upon it. Otherwise, you assume everything works as it has for the 1,000s of others before you.
Some schools, like Deerfield, will send you a link to an online checklist once you begin your application so that you can see as each item is completed.
Hello are you using Gateway or the SAO? It’s been a few years but I do recall when my son applied there was a clear way to see online which items were missing.
Some schools will send an email if something is missing but the onus is on you to check and make sure everything arrives on time.
We were advised to check back with the schools a week or two after the deadline (generally Jan 15 for us) to make sure they have everything, though we’ve gone through SAO and the portal shows what’s been submitted.
We received confirmation from nearly every school when the apps were complete… they sent an email, letter, or postcard.
