How do you know if its a formal or informal interview?

<p>I just got an offer of interview from the VP of Alumni Organization aat Cornell.</p>

<p>Does that mean its a formal interview?</p>

<p>How would I know?</p>

<p>Question is which college are u applying to? If it’s engineering, it’s definitely informal. My guess is that it’s informal.</p>

<p>Yes that’s correct. It’s been said 1000 times and it will be said again now and probably 1000 more times: The only colleges with formal, evaluative interviews are Hotel and AAP. Otherwise it is an informal information session with negligable bearing on your chance of admission. The purpose is for you to ask questions and get to know the university better.</p>

<p>Go in a tuxedo with a T-shirt underneath. A top hat with a bandana underlying. Detachable cargos with one leg removed to shorts and one leather shoe and a basketball shoe on the other.</p>

<p>For added effect, pull the pants down a bit on one side… A bow-tie and EMIN3M’s tatoos on the the leg would perchance add the finishing touches…</p>
