How do you know if your recommendation letters are great??

Hi there,
I got to read the recommendation letters my teachers wrote for me. But how do you know if they are great or not?? because they've written all those praises, accomplishments and stuff but they don't seem to be great to me. Or are they great? I'm kinda confused, they just kinda don't live up to my expectations..I dunnoo..

Here's what one top school wants:
Writing Recommendations | MIT Admissions

A great rec letter puts you in context of the teacher's career and your school and makes you come out on top. It would say.....Johnny is one of the very top scholars I have taught during my 20 year career, he exhibits brilliance I've rarely seen at the highly competitive schools at which I've taught. His approach to my class goes way beyond that of the vast majority of our highly accomplished student body. His writing skills are top .001 percent. He writes with maturity and insight truly rare for his age. His creativity is astounding, the fund raising activities he lead for our Habitat for Humanity project raised 20 times what students have raised in prior years due to his creativity, energy and ability to inspire his fellow students.

Thank you so much guys :D

it gives colleges a different, positive perspective on you that does not show in any other areas in your application
