How do you memorize these strategies and figure out when to use them when it comes test time?

I study all the concepts but I can’t seem to memorize them and use them.

Any strategies?

Thanks a lot for any responses.

When I learn a strategy, I normally do problems that’ll help me reinforce it just memorizing them isn’t as effective.

Oh…how long should I spend studying for the sat?

Depends on what your goal score is and how close you are to it. Trying spending an half-hour each day and an hour on the weekends if you can. When do you plan to take the SATs?

SAT Question of the Day

Agreed…it is much easier to remember things if you put them into practice. Follow the rule of three: you need to be exposed to something at least three times before you can commit it to memory, and if you “interact” with it, you’ll commit it to long-term memory better. Works for me.

Im planning to take it in 2007 and if I can late 2006.

for vocab, I just use Sparknotes Vocabulary flash cards. they’re 1000.

xiggi method, stat

You shouldn’t have to recite the strategy in your head–you should practice them until you subconsciously employ them.

whats the Xiggi method?
