<p>I go to school in Canada, and almost everyone does not know about Emory. Whenever I told them I am going to Emory next year, they are like ‘where is it?’ or even ‘what is it?’. All I could say was, it’s in Atlanta and an amazing school!, (majorities are going to McGill or U of Toronto from my school) Anyways, today one of my friends asked me how I already got an Emory e-mail account after he visited my facebook (all my friends are still using the high school e-mail account except for me!! hahah) I told them I got it as soon as I got accepted but what I realized was he pronounced Emory as</p>
<p>‘eee-mory’ (bee without b, or see without s) and it sounded really odd to me since I have been pronouncing Emory as ‘eh-mory’ (eh, like apple, eh-pple) I don’t think there is a right or wrong way to say it, but I just wondered… how do you pronounce it?</p>
