how do you study for AP tests?

many of my friends don’t study. I am not sure how to. Should i look over my classwork or should i buy a book? How much should you study for them in comparison to standarized testing?

any response would be great

i would say just go over a review book

Depends on the subject and how much you know the material. Usually going over the textbook is enough.

Ideally, you finish a course in the corresponding subject.
Then, you spend some time reviewing the material,
using your textbook and a streamlined review book.

buy a review book, and take plenty of practice exams.

If you’ve seen the type of material covered and you feel as if the teacher you have is covering it, really don’t worry.

If you feel like the teacher isn’t covering it, read over the textbook and brush up on the stuff from earlier on in the year. But, that’s the extent of it. You can also have study groups if that’s your thing.

P.S. It IS a standardized test. Just more material specific.

Last year the week before the AP exams i read a review book for each exam (besides ap english) and took a couple practice exams. After taking the practice exams i went over my mistakes and that was pretty much it. that worked for a 5 on ap world, euro, geo, english lang

Do the past exams they release on the site. It goes back 10 years. If you can do them, you should be fine on ANY AP.
