How Do You Tell Them You're Transferring?

<p>I have just been accepted to another school; I’ve been applying for transfer this whole year. While my coaches knew about it I now need to tell them I’m leaving. How do you gracefully break it to them? I’m really sad to leave, if it was just about athletics, I’d stay in a heartbeat – I love the coaching staff and I’ve done really well with them – but it’s about my education and future and I can’t turn down an opportunity I don’t think I’ll ever get again.</p>
