How do you transfer to Cal poly SLO when alot of the pre req courses are missing at cc?

The question is what the title says. I have checked the agreements between Cal poly slo and some cc:s and almost all the cc:s are lacking like 5 classes that are pre req?

For CS major

Call SLO admissions.

@Gumbymom

It seems like i just misunderstood Assist.org.

Apparently some of the courses i thought was required was just “desired” according to http://admissions.calpoly.edu/applicants/transfer/criteria17/cscsea.html . So, CSC 102 and 103 wasn’t required. I don’t know much about transfers but if the courses on http://admissions.calpoly.edu/applicants/transfer/criteria17/cscsea.html are the only ones required, what are all those other courses that assist.org lists? http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=aa&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=19&dir=1&sia=SBCC&ria=CPSLO&ia=SBCC&oia=CPSLO&aay=15-16&ay=16-17&dora=CSC

The classes listed on assist.org as having no articulation agreement means, that these classes are not available at your CCC and you would have to take them at SLO once you transfer. If they are on SLO’s list as required, then it would be to your best interest to find a CCC that does offer the classes but since they are on SLO’s list so you should be fine. I would still take the desired courses to give you an edge on the other applicants.

Meant to say"not on SLO’s required list"
