It says in the prompt that I should describe my experience in employment, student organizations.etc

But I don’t have any EC activities, I wanted to get into some this semester but all my classes are in the student activity hour :(

And I’m F1 student so I can’t be employed either

Is it going to disqualify me from admission? If not, what should I write in my essay beside my intended major? Because I have no experience at all

Write about why you chose your major, what inspired you to go that path? Where does you interest come from? How do you know that that’s what you want to do? Even if you don’t have any relevant experience, surely you’ve got something that put you on your path, and that’s what they want to hear.

The strongest personal statements are about personal experiences, not casual extracurriculars. You can check out my examples to better understand what I mean -

UC Transfer Essays will be a little different in that you will do less storytelling and more explaining. Admissions officers want to get a sense of your drive and your motivation for transferring.

It’s a big deal when your essay is done well. From personal experience working with students (you can also look at all the results threads here), GPA alone has little predictive power. A student with a below-average GPA, but strong statements and well-articulated activities stands a better chance than a student with a high GPA who presents himself/herself ineffectively.

Tldr: You don’t need impressive ECs or work experiences to write an outstanding transfer essay. You have a goldmine of life experiences outside of these two things.

Im still not sure what Im gonna do with my life but I can’t wait any longer I already have 55 units ready to transfer and my parents want me to transfer

So why did you choose Anthropology or media studies? Any clubs you were involved in? Took any classes and got to know the professor well? Saw a passion in it because a role model inspired you?
