<p>If I get in, I’m thinking about a double major in math and statistics. To double major would I have to complete all of the requirements for both majors (including extra electives) or do I just need to complete the core curricula for these two fields?</p>
<p>The pre-reqs for both are the same (basic calc, multivariable, linear algebra). You’d have to take 3-4 required courses for each of the majors, I think, but most of your elective math/stats courses should count for both majors. I think it would be a very doable combination.</p>
