How does admission office consider gpa? I’m trying to apply to some these school as a junior level transfer : syracuse university, UIUC, UT-austin, marquette university, university of florida, and university of georgia.
How do they consider gpa? Cumulative gpa or “major course”? My cumulative gpa is not so good but major courses are 4.0. Does anyone know how these schools consider gpa?

I know that if you can go to Austin with a GPA above 3. Higher the better but it isn’t guaranteed.
GPA is one of the most important factors, as universities are still a school. However if you have above a 3.0, you should be able to transfer somewhere decent.
