How does appeal work?

Currently my college is only giving me $4000 in financial aid because I just got off the waitlist. I would have to take out $16,000 in loans. Could you appeal if you got off the waitlist?

And is it worth dorming first-year if it means taking out an extra $10,000 in loans?

“fill out applications at mcdonalds, burger king, and dunkin donuts. that what i did”

“If you get a 4.0, you’re basically garanteed a job anywhere you want, or go to any grad school you want. a super high paying job will be only hiring ppl who get 4.0 and nothing less.”

May be you should stop ■■■■■■■■ on other threads or making some stupid comments to get your question answered. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person who doesn’t like you here.

often students from wait lists and transfered students don’t get the pick of financial aid offers. Does this school state they meet 100% of need?
Have you asked if your package would change next year?
If you have recieved a more attractive offer from another school- you may be able to get them to increase theirs but it probably comes down to what attending this school is worth to you.
and now I don’t think that taking out $16,000 for one year of school is agood financial move.

the school did Not state they meet 100% of the finacial aid. They only gave me $4000 in financial aid award. I have to take out $16,000 in loans just for the first year. Should I call the financial aid office again?

Is there any way to appeal if you just got off the waitlist?

And is it worth taking Another $10,000 out in loans for room&board?

Call the finaid office and ask them. They will either say yes or no regarding appealing finaid awards.
