So yeah, i’m thinking of canceling my Human geo score (I self studied it in like 1.5 weeks). I’m a junior, and I didn’t put down any college to send the score to. Do I still have to cancel the score by June 15th? or can I cancel it after i’ve the score comes out? And if i do want to cancel it, do I just mail in a piece of paper with the required info (name, address and what not), or is there like a format? Thanks in advance.

I think you can get the score and just not reveal it to your schools.

You can pay $10 to have the score withheld when you send your scores to a school. There is no need to send scores to a school until you have decided to attend that school, so you’ll only have to pay once. If the score really does s**k & you want it withheld, check to see if you high school automatically includes AP scores on the transcripts it sends for your college apps … if so, you should be able to get them to leave your scores off, since they aren’t necessary.

My question is, after I get my scores back, if some of them sucks, can I just mail in a letter to cancel the bad scores and get rid of them forever? If I canceled after June 15, will the colleges that I apply to (I’m a senior this fall), still see the scores? I know my high school will still see the scores, and they will still appear on the grade report I get, but will the colleges see them? I did not put down any college to send the report to by the way.

Anyone? Help please?

I don’t think you can do that, that’s why you need to pay money to withhold your scores after you see them.

So… let me get this straight. When you APPLY for college, you don’t send a report of your AP scores? you only send a report of your AP scores after you got in? So do colleges know about your AP scores when you apply for college? I also heard most AP scores are self reported. How does that work?
