How does class rank affect my admission(low rank)

<p>Ive been applying for collages for early action. I have a 4th quartile class rank but an 85 gpa(3.5 i think is how my high school converts it). I have taken many AP courses which is mainly what lowered my gpa and class rank. I have an ACT score of 31, a 5 on the AP bio exam and a 4 on the AP Environmental science exam. My planned major is bio/premed. How do you think my class rank and gpa will affect my chances of getting into a good college?</p>

<p>Well mostly schools locally. There’s one i know i have automatic admission to and that is UTD(Automatic admission at >26 ACT score). The ones im wondering about would be SMU, Baylor and Austin Collage. Also i applied to a few out of staters like Case Western and University of Chicago.</p>
