how does class scheduling work?

I’m interested in taking a Korean class and a calculus class next semester. The problem is that at the exact moment my calculus class ends (8:00 - 9:00) my Korean class begins (9:00 - 10:00) on MW. I’ve been having this issue with some of my other classes as well and don’t really know how to address it.

Is it possible to take two classes that has one class ending at one minute and another class starting at the next? Or do I need to find some way to schedule a 30 minute or 1 hour break in between all my classes?

the college is UT Austin if that helps.

1 hour courses let out 10 minutes early and 1 and a half hour courses 15 minutes early for this very reason. Try to look up the campus buildings on this map: https://www.utexas.edu/maps/main/buildings/

As long as your classes aren’t half way across campus you should be just fine.
