How does college works ?

<p>Hi.
I’m currently a sophomore student. Neither of my parents went to college. So I’m confuse on how college(or life after college) works ?
I’ve some questions and I hope someone can help me answer them.</p>

<p>About college :

  1. What does college teach you other than your chosen major ?
  2. Major… How does it work ? I’m thinking of study Engineering. So after I finished Engineering Major, do I get a degree on the the major or something ???
    Ok… Another thing is that… Does some jobs require you to have degree on certain major ? If yeah, how do I get another degree of that (major) after I finished my college ???</p>
